Welcome to PASS Elections 2010
Voting is CLOSED!
The ballots are in, the votes are counted, and the results have been confirmed. While PASS was lucky to have 9 fantastic nominees for this year's elections race, congratulations are in order for this year's three winning candidates.

This year there were 1084 ballots cast, a 188% improvement on the 576 ballots cast in the 2009 elections. 2796 unique votes were counted.

And, of course, there's a lot of additional information and debate in the community blogs listed on the Discussion page.
Results will be announced on PASS Blog at noon Pacific Time on September 17. The announcement will also be posted on this page. Thanks to everyone for participating in the 2010 PASS Elections!
How Does It Work?
The elections process starts with the nomination application. Applicants are screened and ranked by the Nominations Committee. The top applicants are invited back for an interview. They are then again ranked by the Nominations Committee, which presents an election slate to the Board of Directors for review. The top interviewees become the official candidates when the Board of Directors approves the election slate.
Campaigning starts on August 18, 2010. The polls open on September 1, and candidates may campaign until balloting officially closes (noon PST, September 15). This year, the three candidates that receive the most votes will be elected to the Board of Directors.
